National Savings (NSI) are investments offered by Her Majesty‘s Treasury. By offering a range of investments and savings products, NSI is effectively raising money for the Treasury, and in return NSI offers security for the investment as they are backed by the Government.

However, in many cases, the compromise for this security is a return that is lower than can be obtained from other investments.
